We shared examples from previous proposals, discussed different locations throughout the resort, and walked him through exactly how the experience would unfold.
After exploring the options together, we decided on one of our favorite locations on the property:
Point Flora.
Tucked within Estancia's beautifully landscaped gardens, Point Flora is one of the resort's most romantic outdoor spaces.
Surrounded by vibrant flowers, mature trees, and peaceful garden paths, it offers a secluded setting that feels intimate while still showcasing the natural beauty of the property.

Every Detail Was Planned Together
One of the things we love most about destination proposals is working behind the scenes to make everything feel effortless.
Together with Shane and the wonderful team at Estancia, we finalized every detail leading up to proposal day.
The concierge team even coordinated Shane and Megan's room placement so their natural walk through the resort would lead them toward Point Flora without raising any suspicion.
From there, we built a personalized proposal timeline that covered:

The Morning Everything Came Together
On the day of the proposal, Stephanie and I arrived early to begin setting up.
The floral arch was assembled.

Every detail was carefully arranged.
We had just finished with only a few minutes to spare when we received the update we'd been waiting for.
Shane was on the move.
Our hearts immediately started racing.
No matter how many proposals we photograph, those final few minutes never get old.
One Question Changed Everything
As Shane and Megan walked through the gardens toward Point Flora, everything unfolded exactly as planned.
The peaceful surroundings.
The beautiful flowers.
The quiet excitement of knowing what was about to happen.
When they reached the proposal setup, Shane turned toward Megan.
He took a deep breath.
Looked into her eyes.
And asked the biggest question of his life.
"Will you marry me?"
Without hesitation...
Megan said...
"Yes."
