On September 11, Steph and I started the morning in Avalon after photographing another proposal on Catalina Island, took the ferry to Long Beach and drove straight to San Diego. We picked up Alex and Sayra’s favorite snacks, refreshments and flowers before creating their personalized cliffside picnic. Once everything was ready, Alex led Sayra toward the setup, held her hand and got down on one knee. She said yes, and we spent the next 30 minutes capturing their Sunset Cliffs engagement photos.
