A Breath of Desert Air: Capturing a Family Photoshoot in Palm Springs

Lately, our cameras have been capturing countless proposals — but when Angelica reached out to book a family photoshoot in Palm Springs, it felt like the perfect change of pace. Palm Springs has always held a special place in our hearts, from its modern architecture and thriving food scene to its desert light and nearby Joshua Tree National Park. Angelica and her husband Tyler brought their two sons for their first-ever family portraits, and we wanted to make every moment count. We started at the iconic Marilyn Monroe statue near the Palm Springs Art Museum and wandered downtown capturing candid, documentary-style moments that spoke volumes — laughter, love, and a few melted ice creams in between.
