Making Things Right: Brett & Mary Bray’s Encinitas Engagement Session — Part Two

A few days after our camera failed during Brett and Mary Bray’s La Jolla Cove proposal, we met them again for a complimentary engagement session in Encinitas. We began at their oceanfront Airbnb, where their friends gathered to celebrate with sparkling wine and a toast overlooking the Pacific. From there, we walked to Leucadia State Beach and photographed the newly engaged couple as the sun began to set—this time with a working professional camera. What started as an opportunity to redeem ourselves became a lesson in responsibility, humility and what it truly means to make things right. Part Two of their story shows how an unexpected failure became a memorable engagement experience before they returned home to San Francisco.
