On the morning of February 21, we sent Bailey a GPS pin and a photo of us so he could easily recognize us at Sunset Cliffs. Steph and I arrived early, made the drive down the coast, and quietly set up the picnic overlooking the Pacific.

Then Bailey arrived.
We made quick visual contact — one small nod that everything was ready.
He led Mia down the trail toward the ocean.
