Five days to plan, rising tides, and a sunset proposal to remember. On September 2, Anne contacted Last Minute Photoshoot to arrange her son Andrew's surprise proposal to McKenzie at Crystal Cove State Park in Newport Beach, California. Traveling through Southern California, the couple had one opportunity to make it happen. We coordinated a romantic proposal near The Beachcomber, but an approaching storm and unexpectedly high tides made our original shoreline location unsafe. Arriving early, we scouted a safer location, sent Andrew updated GPS directions, and discreetly captured the moment he got down on one knee and McKenzie said yes. We finished with romantic sunset engagement portraits along Crystal Cove's coastline, proving that flexibility and preparation can turn unexpected challenges into unforgettable memories.
