Can We Plan a Private Yacht Elopement Instead?
Yes. If you’re already engaged, we can help coordinate an intimate yacht elopement in San Diego with planning, charter arrangements, and professional photography.
You might be imagining a ceremony with just the two of you and your vendors, or a small celebration with family and friends. We start with your guest count, priorities, and preferred atmosphere, then work through suitable charter options.

An elopement requires its own quote. Ceremony coverage, guest count, charter duration, and vendor arrangements differ from a surprise proposal, so our published proposal packages do not automatically include a wedding ceremony.

Do You Provide an Officiant for a Yacht Elopement?
We do not provide an officiant directly, but we can help facilitate connecting you with one and coordinate their involvement in your timeline.
Officiant availability, services, and fees are confirmed separately. You’ll also confirm marriage paperwork and ceremony requirements with your officiant and the appropriate county office.
If you already have an officiant, let us know before booking so we can include them in the boarding arrangements and confirm the space needed aboard.

We check availability with the charter team and discuss the coverage and arrangements that suit your plans.
Before you reserve, your written booking details confirm your yacht, assigned photographer, inclusions, payment schedule, and total price.
Prepare the Details Together
For proposals, we work through the cover story, timing, positioning, and cue.
For elopements, we coordinate the ceremony flow, portraits, guest involvement, and communication with your officiant.
We also discuss how much photography direction you want. Some couples enjoy guided portraits; others prefer a shorter session and more candid coverage.
Arrive and Enjoy Your Experience
You receive arrival and boarding guidance before the day. Once aboard, the captain handles the vessel while we focus on the agreed plan and photographs.
Specific routes, backdrops, and onboard positioning depend on conditions and the captain’s safe operating decisions.
Can You Book a Last-Minute Yacht Proposal or Elopement?
Last-minute inquiries are welcome, subject to yacht, captain, photographer, and any additional vendor availability.
If your trip is coming up soon, send your preferred date and alternate dates. We can check the available options while helping you work through the details.
For an elopement, officiant availability and ceremony preparations also need to align.
If Stephanie and Son are already booked, we can check our photography partner network. Your assigned photographer and any differences in the arrangement are explained before you commit.
